Because some Politicans don´t know what they are talking about, the whole Eroge Industry and also we foreign Otakus must suffering.
Not only in Germany the Politcans fabricate only shit. I think you have already read about the „RapeLay incident„. Not only, that Eroge from the Rape genre are know banned from production and selling, all the non-japanese Otakus couldn´t anymore visit the Hompages of the Eroge makers.
It isn´t that the Eroge makers like to do that, it´s a act to protect the Eroge Industry. Ok, use a japanese Proxy and you could visit the Homepages but that is not the problem. Some foreign Politicans babble shit and use a extreme example and a whole Industry with an exchange from above 34 Billion Yen in 2007 must tremble about there existence? That couldn´t be!
It´s not done with the ban of Rape eroge. More and more genres are banned. Also associations like the UNICEF try to use that circumstances for even more bans. So, not only the foreign Otakus are affected.
Ok, maybe it doesn´t help that some foreign Otakus write about that in their Blogs but doing nothing would absoluteley not help.

Ich bin da ein wenig optimistischer und sage, dass wir erst in 3 Monaten eingebuchtet werden. Sobald die ganzen dummen Trotteln Schwarz-Gelb gewählt haben… -_-
Wie gesagt, dadurch dass immer mehr Genres verboten sind in und für Eroge, gehts auch an die Eroge an sich.
Ob du das auch noch so siehst, wenns ans eingemachte geht, ich weiß ja nicht ;)
